Currently I am part of the Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-IBBR). My research focuses in two main lines, the first one consists on the development of innovative organic and green substrates for the development of a new generation of gas sensors. The second research line focuses on the application of metal oxide nanowires sensor device to the quality control process along the food chain and environmental monitoring.

I earned my Ph.D in Food Science, Technology and Biotechnology from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia on March 2016, entitled “Application of Nanowire gas sensor device for the quality control process in the food chain”. Afterwards I get my second Ph.D degree at the University of Brescia, Department of Information Engineering, on Information Engineering, Experimental Physics, with a thesis entitle “BC-MOS: Development of a new generation of organic MOS gas sensors”. I’ve been part of the Sensor Lab of the University of Brescia in Italy since 2013 until 2019 for the development of novel application of sensors devices in Life Science field.
