- From August 2011 responsible of the IBBR-UOS Portici’s research group of Agrobiotechnology of Sorghum. Since November 2020 she obtained the transfer at the IBBR/UOS Napoli.

*Extraction and characterization of food-grade white sorghum proteins.
*Isolation and characterization of bioactive sorghum peptides with antioxidant activities.
*Extraction and characterization of polyphenolic compounds of colored varieties of food-grade sorghum.
*Formulation of nutraceutical foods based based on food-grade gluten-free white sorghum proteins.
*Development of the food-grade white sorghum agri-food chain for the production of functional foods and nutraceuticals.
*Isolation and genetic and molecular characterization of tellurium resistant mutants of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
*Study of diseases of mitochondrial origin using the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Caenorhabditis elegans as model organisms : isolation and characterization of mitochondrial ribosomal proteins connected with Alzheimer’s disease.
