Main research topics
My research focuses on: the analysis of molecular markers for characterization of plant DNA diversity; the identification and the functional analysis of genes involved in powdery mildew in Cucurbitaceae; the molecular mechanisms of response to abiotic stresses (drought and high temperastures) in tomato; the genome editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology.
