| Description | A project funded by the LIFE programme with the aim of defining an innovative methodology for the assessment of risks linked with the presence of transgenic crops. The main goal is the definition of a quick monitoring index which supports decision-makers to identify the areas where to position the environmental monitoring network at local level. Project activities do not foresee the use of transgenic organisms. The project is based on a detailed analysis of the ecosystems and environmental resources present in the study area.
