PIANO NAZIONALE RIPRESA E RESILIENZA (PNRR) MISSIONE 4, COMPONENTE 2, INVESTIMENTO 3.1 "Fondo per la realizzazione di un sistema integrato di infrastrutture di ricerca e innovazione" PROGETTO ITINERIS - IR - Italian Integrated Environmental Research Infrastructures System. ITINERIS will build the Italian Hub of Research Infrastructures in the environmental scientific domain for the observation and study of environmental processes in the atmosphere, marine domain, terrestrial biosphere, and geosphere, providing access to data and services and supporting the Country to address current and expected environmental challenges. ITINERIS Activity 6.5 - Mining and mapping the functional biodiversity in in-vivo and ex-situ research collections. The main ojective of the project are: (i) implementation of a national network of biological research collections, including all the existing in vivo and ex-situ collections of biological organisms (animals, plants, fungi, algae, archaea, bacteria, viruses, etc.) which have been created and maintained through past and current research projects; (ii) reorganization, standardization and harmonization of the data and metadata currently available (taxonomic, genetic, geographical, ecological, physiological information); (iii) implementation of an easily searchable platform supported by web-GIS functionalities; (iv) realization of a bioinformatic toolbox to allow the full integration and analysis of functional biodiversity. |
