- Study of the Volatiloma, in the agro-food sector
- Set-up of new nanomaterials acting as a substrate for gas sensors (MOX)
- Study of new biosensors based on biological substrates
- Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) for the study of the complexity of the Volatiloma
- Integrated IoT Data-Base from farm to fork to support traceability and quality in the food chain.
Research activities
Fig. 3 - S3+ device equipped with nanotechnological MOX sensors.
- Testing nanotechnological sensors for the creation of an array of high-performance and tailored MOX sensors for the specific application in the agri-food sector;
- Creation of databases, in order to create tailored algorithms and neural networks related to the data acquired by devices equipped with gas sensors on different food matrices (fig.3);
- IoT Data base will be implemented and applied in real time associated with the archived data of the sensors array in order to predict possible scenario already analyzed
- Chemical / physical / microbiological analysis with classical and innovative chemical and microbiological techniques for the study of volatiloma in samples of agri-food origin (fig.2).
